Man linked to radicalisation bid arrested at Bengaluru airport by NIA
Aziz Ahmed, a member of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, was arrested by the NIA at Bengaluru Airport while attempting to flee the country. Ahmed is alleged to have tried to radicalize youth to establish an Islamic caliphate in India. He held secret classes to indoctrinate youth with the group’s ideology and sought support from opposing forces.
