Having taken its signature blend of spectacle, music and madness to over 45 countries and 200 cities worldwide, elrow, the globally celebrated party phenomenon, will make its way to the city on May 17, at the Dome, SVP Stadium in Worli.
The show will bring elrow’s celebrated ‘Kaos Garden’ theme to life, promising an immersive night where music, colour and chaos collide welcoming its house-driven energy and larger-than-life production to India, inviting fans into a technicolour world where the dancefloor becomes the centre of the show, produced an promoted by Sunburn in India.
Born from a philosophy rooted in the celebration of life, inclusion and boundless fun, elrow has become one of the world’s most immersive electronic music experiences. Known for its spirit of diversity, spontaneity and controlled chaos, elrow creates unforgettable moments where music, performance and imagination collide.
Juan Jr., CEO, elrow, said, “India has become one of the most exciting and fast-growing destinations for live entertainment and electronic music culture today. Bringing elrow here is incredibly special for us because the spirit of celebration, colour and collective joy that defines India resonates deeply with the world we create with the festival. We’re thrilled to return with our unique universe of music, art and immersive storytelling and we cannot wait to grow the family in India.”
Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn, added, “India’s electronic music audience has evolved from discovering global artists to seeking out deeper, more immersive cultural experiences. elrow stands out globally for its ability to merge music, art and large-scale production into a format that feels both theatrical and communal. Bringing elrow to India reflects where the market is today – more discerning, more experiential and ready to engage with formats that go beyond the traditional festival stage. For us, this is about thoughtfully curating globally celebrated formats for a market that is now ready to engage with them at scale. elrow’s philosophy of community, creativity and uninhibited celebration aligns perfectly with the direction in which India’s live entertainment culture is heading.”
At the heart of the elrow experience lies a vibrant soundtrack of house and tech house, with occasional explorations into techno, all designed to keep the dancefloor alive. The extravaganza is a work of art, renowned for its spectacular scenic production. The experience will go far beyond the DJ booth, transforming the venue into a surreal fantastical universe. Towering installations, interactive sets and immersive special effects will bring the space to life, while a vibrant cast of performers, from acrobats and dancers to stilt walkers and roaming characters, will blur the lines between audience and spectacle.
The visual brainchild of the Madrid-born painter and sculptor, Okuda San Miguel, brings a unique take on paradise, inviting attendees into a surreal universe. Mimicking the scenes found in one of Miguel`s favourite paintings – the Garden of Earthly Delights by Dutch painter, Hieronymus Bosch – the multicolour decor and lineup of equally mind-bending performers makes one travelled into another universe, to party within the widely celebrated piece of art portraying hell, earth and paradise. Picture colourful skulls, boats, flying mountains, trees, birds, unicorns and mermaids.
With immersive stage worlds, roaming performers and playful surprises appearing throughout the crowd, every moment feels alive with movement and colour. For fans who live for the collective rush of a packed dancefloor and the unfiltered energy of electronic music, elrow promises a night where the party unfolds all around you.
The festival is produced and promoted by Spacebound, with event partners Team Innovation, Paradox and Dome Entertainment. Registrations for elrow India will open at 6 pm on March 30 and on-sale for registered fans will begin at 5 pm on April 1. The general on-sale will go live at 12 noon on April 2, on BookMyShow.
