In the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a win by 18 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

In the RCB`s campaign, all-rounder Krunal Pandya has been playing a crucial role with both bat and ball. He also said that his ultimate goal is to represent India in top-flight cricket.

“The ultimate goal is to represent the country, and I don`t dwell too much on it. I want to keep doing what I have in my hand, which is to go out there and perform and win games. And in that process, if I get that opportunity, I`ll be really glad because that`s the ultimate goal, playing for the country,” he told reporters.

“And yeah, whatever opportunity I got playing for the country in white ball, I did a pretty decent job at that time. It`s just I want to do my thing, and the rest of the things, I leave it to God,” added Krunal.

In the match against the “Paltan”, he returned with the figures of one wicket for 26 runs in four overs.

Following the win, RCB is placed in the third position on the points table. With three wins and one loss, the Rajat Patidar-led team has a net run rate (NRR) of +1.148 and six points.

The Royal Challengers` next game is against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 15 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
