Former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist had an unexpected meet-up with a very different Ricky Ponting recently — one with fur and paws.
Gilchrist Instagrammed a series of images of a pet dog (incidentally named after legendary Australian skipper) belonging to the owners of a cafe in Brisbane.
Gilchrist didn’t waste the opportunity to crack a joke on his former Aussie teammate. “Always great when you run into old mates unexpectedly,” he captioned the post.
