2 arrested by Mangaluru police for assault on Catholic Sabha president
Mangaluru city police have arrested two individuals, Mohammed Atavulla and Tausir, for allegedly assaulting and threatening Catholic Sabha President, Alwyn Jerome D’Souza. The incident occurred during a protest by the Catholic Sabha. Both accused were remanded to judicial custody after being presented in court. The protest supported Pavoor Uliya Island residents against illegal sand extraction.
