Karnataka deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar has announced that all companies and educational institutions must hoist the Karnataka flag on November 1. This order is part of the Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations. Shivakumar emphasized fostering local pride and respecting the Kannada language and culture. He also warned against unlawful actions by pro-Kannada organizations.
