Indian tech brand Ai+ has launched the new smartphone series Nova 2. The company has introduced two smartphones – Ai+ Nova 2 and Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra. Additionally, the company has also brought its first flip phone Ai+ Nova Flip to the market. The new budget and mid-range phones feature large batteries and high refresh rate displays. The Ultra model will get a 50MP Sony camera and 1.5K AMOLED display. Ai+ Nova 2 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 8,999. Meanwhile, the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra is priced starting from Rs 16,999. Ai+ Nova 2 Smartphone Series: Design and Build Quality Ai+ has tried to give the Nova 2 series a modern and premium look. The Nova 2 has a polycarbonate material back panel, but the Ultra model has a very smooth finish that gives a premium feel. The weight of both phones has been kept balanced so that they don’t feel heavy when held in hand. Specifications and Features Display: The Nova 2 Ultra has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,500 nits peak brightness, which makes the screen clearly visible even in bright sunlight. Meanwhile, the Nova 2 has been given a 6.745-inch HD+ display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Performance and Software
The Ultra model features the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, which is built on a 4nm process. This is better for gaming and heavy tasks. The standard model comes with the Unisoc T8200 chipset, which is based on a 6nm process and delivers a clock speed of 2.3GHz. Both phones run on the company’s own NxtQ OS based on the latest Android 16. Camera: The Nova 2 Ultra has a dual camera setup on the rear. The main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX752, which comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The second is an 8MP ultrawide lens. Meanwhile, the Nova 2 has a 50MP single rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Battery and Charging: The biggest strength of the series is its large 6,000mAh battery. The Ultra model supports 33W fast charging, while the standard model offers 18W charging facility. Connectivity: Both smartphones come with features like 5G along with dual SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Ultra model has been given support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for better connectivity.
