In the semi-final 2 of the T20 World Cup 2026 against England, Team India emerged victorious by seven runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Having put to chase a target of 253 runs, England managed to reach 246 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Opening the innings, Phil Salt scored five runs in three balls, including a boundary. Wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler also scored 25 runs in 17 balls, with the help of four boundaries and a maximum.
