Gold smuggling case: Karnataka HC adjourns bail plea of Ranya Rao, Tarun Raju till April 21; DRI told to file objections

The Karnataka High Court postponed the bail hearing for Harshavardini Ranya Rao and Tarun Konduru Raju. They are accused in a gold smuggling case. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence was directed to submit objections. Ranya Rao’s lawyer cited Customs Act violations. Authorities had earlier seized gold from Ranya Rao.
