Habitat fragmentation, greatest threat to conservation: Expert
Wildlife conservationist Praveen Bhargav addressed habitat fragmentation as a key threat to India’s wildlife. He noted that only a small percentage of India’s land is protected for wildlife. Bhargav also pointed out the absence of specific laws for river protection. He urged for integrated conservation models. The talk was organized by INTACH Mangaluru.
