How to share your screen on WhatsApp on Android:Just like Zoom, WhatsApp lets you share your phone/desktop screen during a video call; Here’s how

In 2023, Meta-owned WhatsApp rolled out a feature that users had been waiting for ‘screen sharing’ during a video call! And no, it’s not just for techies it’s as easy as tapping a button. But still some users or who are new to WhatsApp are finding it difficult to so it! Much like Zoom or Google Meet, you can now share your entire phone or desktop screen during a WhatsApp video call. Whether you’re using an Android, an iPhone, or even WhatsApp’s Windows desktop app this feature is live and available to all. And the best part is that when you share your screen, the other person sees exactly what you see. From swiping through photos, showing a PDF, opening YouTube, or walking someone through how to change a setting it’s all visible on their screen. But, like any powerful feature you gotta know how to use it right. Let me break it down for you step by step. Here’s how to share your screen on WhatsApp during a video call: On Mobile: During a WhatsApp video call, just tap the screen to bring up the controls, then hit the screen share icon at the bottom. A quick pop-up will ask for your permission once you confirm, a countdown begins: 3…2…1… and your screen is now live for everyone on the call. Done sharing? Simply go back to WhatsApp and tap Stop Sharing to end it. On Desktop: Heads up screen sharing only works on the WhatsApp desktop app, not the web version. Start your video call, click the screen share icon on the call window, and choose whether you want to share your entire screen or just a specific window.
