‘If we had known he was going to the stadium, We would’ve stopped him’: Shivalinga just passed Class 10 board exams; was the future of his family, says Bengaluru stampede victim’s father

Seventeen-year-old Shivalinga, a Class 10 board exam pass-out, lost his life in the Bengaluru stampede after detouring to the stadium to see his favourite RCB players. A responsible son from a humble family, he was seen as their future. His devastated parents now grieve their loss, saying no compensation can replace the dreams they had for him.
