In a 1st, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah suspends Bengaluru top cop, orders arrest of RCB & state cricket top officials

Following a tragic stampede at RCB’s victory celebration in Bengaluru, which resulted in 11 fatalities, the Karnataka government has taken swift action. Five senior police officers, including Police Commissioner B Dayananda, have been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty. CM Siddaramaiah has ordered the immediate arrest of top officials from RCB, event management firm DNA, and KSCA.
