Kancha Gachibowli forest row: Telangana high court defers hearing to April 24; forest dept seeks probe into ‘fake wildlife images’

The Telangana High Court has postponed the hearing on the alleged destruction of the Kancha Gachibowli forest. The state departments are required to file their responses by April 24. The Supreme Court has stayed the project and sought reports on whether the state complied with forest laws. The opposition alleges the spread of fake images to mislead the public.
