Kadaba Police registered a case against a Facebook user named Ibrahim Mitthodi ExMuslim. The user allegedly posted provocative content. K Abdul Hakeem filed a complaint after seeing the post on August 30. The post reportedly hurt religious sentiments and incited communal hatred. Police registered the case under Sections 353(2) and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita based on the complaint.
