KMC doctors save 55-year-old man from rare heart attack complication in Karnataka
A 55-year-old man in Mangalore experienced a rare heart attack complication. Doctors at KMC Hospital diagnosed a ventricular septal rupture after an angioplasty. A surgical team led by Dr. Harish Raghavan performed emergency surgery. They successfully repaired the rupture with an artificial patch. The patient recovered well in the ICU and was discharged in stable condition.
