It uses artificial intelligence to communicate with worshippers, offering blessings and answering their questions. Visitors can ask Mazu for personal advice, interpretations of fortune sticks, or general blessings, creating an immersive spiritual experience. A unique blend of tradition and technology The AI Mazu statue was created by Aimazin, a company also known for its AI cloning services. In an interactive demonstration, Aimazin’s founder, Shin Kong, asked the digital deity about luck, and Mazu suggested that staying home would bring better chances of unexpected fortune. An influencer also sought Mazu’s advice on insomnia, with the AI goddess recommending a warm drink before sleep. A special launch on Mazu’s birthday The launch of this innovative digital goddess coincided with Mazu’s 1,065th birthday celebration on April 20. Born in 960 on Meizhou Island in Fujian Province, Mazu is a legendary protector of sailors. After her death, she was believed to have ascended to heaven while attempting to save shipwreck victims. Today, she is worshipped by Chinese communities worldwide, especially in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
