Tech company Motorola launched its new Edge 70 series smartphone Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in the Indian market on March 6. This phone has been launched for users who want premium display and powerful performance with long battery life. The phone comes with a 50MP Sony camera and 7000mAh battery. Additionally, it will get military grade body with IP69 protection. The phone has come in three variants. Its starting price is Rs 26,999. There will be a discount of Rs 2,000 on the phone in the initial sale. Design: Military Grade Body and Quad-Curved Screen Build Quality: The phone has received MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, which protects it against drops. It has IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning it can remain safe in water. Front Design: The phone features a quad-curved screen with virtually no bezels. A small punch hole is provided at the top center for the selfie camera. Due to the curved edges, the phone feels very premium and slim when held in hand. Color: The phone is available in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Silhouette and Pantone Country Air color options. Specifications: Powerful Processor and AI Support Display: It has a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED screen. It supports 144Hz refresh rate and 5200 nits peak brightness. This phone comes with ‘Moto AI 2.0’, which makes smart features easier to use. Camera: There is a triple camera setup on the rear panel of the phone for photography. It has a 50MP Sony LYT710 sensor main camera that comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Along with it, there is a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a light sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a 32MP camera on the front. Battery and Charging: The phone comes with a 7000mAh battery. For charging, you will get a 68W TurboPower fast charger in the box. Software and Other Features The phone runs on Android 16. The company has promised that it will receive OS upgrades for 3 years (up to Android 19) and security updates for 5 years.
