A murder convict on parole, K Nagendra, posed as a sub-inspector to gain entry into a realtor’s home in Bengaluru. He and his associates then robbed the realtor and his wife of Rs 20 lakh cash and gold. Police apprehended Nagendra and three others, recovering a portion of the stolen valuables.
