Noida power woes: Despite Rs 96-crore sanction, residents face outages; infra upgrade to begin mid-September
Noida residents in sectors 30 and 99 are still awaiting promised power infrastructure upgrades despite a Rs 96-crore sanction. While the power department claims 80% of FY 2024-2025 work is done, residents report ongoing outages and unfulfilled promises of infrastructure improvements. Tenders are expected soon, with upgrade work slated to begin mid-September.
