A notorious rowdy sheeter, Prasanth alias Pachu, has been booked for attempting to extort money from shopkeepers in Bajpe. He allegedly threatened sellers along with an associate, Ashwith. The incident occurred on October 22. Police assured protection to the victims before a complaint was filed. Prasanth is also an accused in the Mahammed Fazil murder case.
