Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026 clash against arch-rivals, Pakistan, Team India skipper Suryakumar Yadav will not indulge in the customary handshake with the captain of the “Green Shirts”, Salman Ali Agha, maintaining the status quo since the Asia Cup 2025.
“The No handshake Policy will continue,” a BCCI official in Colombo confirmed, requesting anonymity.
The two teams are set to clash against each other at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
