Telangana launched its free Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination drive on Saturday, with 14-year-old A Kavyasri being the first beneficiary. The initiative aims to prevent cervical cancer among adolescent girls aged 14-15, offering a single dose of the Gardasil-4 vaccine. The program will be available at government hospitals and health centers for a month before expanding.
