Seven people died and two were seriously injured after a vehicle collision. The accident occurred early Thursday morning near Balagara Cross on NH-52. A multi-utility vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming lorry in the Arabail Ghat section. The injured were initially taken to a local hospital and later referred. Police are investigating the incident and have registered a case.
