According to outage-monitoring platform Downdetector, user reports of WhatsApp problems continued until around 11:26 am on August 10. The number of reports indicated that the issue was affecting a significant number of users during the outage. The problem did not appear to be a complete WhatsApp shutdown for everyone. While media sharing was affected, some users were still able to send and receive text messages and use other features of the app. WhatsApp services now restored The good news for users is that the service is now working normally again, with media-sharing features appearing to have been restored.
