Motorola launches new 5G phone at ₹27,999:Features 32MP selfie camera, and a Snapdragon processor with 7,000mAh battery
The company has launched the phone in two variants. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 27,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 29,999. 7000mAh Battery and 30W Fast Charging The Moto G Max 5G is equipped with a 7000mAh battery. Motorola claims that after a full charge, it can provide up to 63 hours of continuous backup to the phone. The phone supports 30W TurboPower fast charging. According to the brand, this technology can charge the phone up to 30% in just 20 minutes. 6.72-inch 120Hz Display The Moto G Max 5G features a 6.72-inch FullHD+ screen with a 20:09 aspect ratio. Its resolution is 2400 1080 pixels. This is a punch-hole display built on an LCD panel, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, 1050nits high brightness, and Display Color Boost support. The screen also has a Water Touch feature, allowing the phone to be used with wet hands. For screen protection, it is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Android 16 and Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Processor The Moto G Max 5G has been launched with Android 16, which works with Hello UI. The company is providing 2 generations of OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates for the phone. For processing, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. This is an octa-core processor built on 4nm fabrication, which can operate at a clock speed ranging from 1.8GHz to 2.4GHz. 6GB RAM can be expanded up to 18GB
The Moto G Max 5G has been introduced with LPDDR5X RAM. This helps keep multitasking smooth and speeds up other tasks, including app switching. Motorola has included RAM Boost technology in the phone. Through this, 12GB of virtual RAM is added to the phone’s 6GB physical RAM. This gives the phone the power of 18GB RAM, which includes 6GB physical and 12GB virtual RAM. 50MP Sony Main Camera and 32MP Selfie Camera For photography, the Moto G Max 5G features a triple rear camera setup. On its back panel, it gets a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 main sensor with F/1.8 aperture and LED flash. This main sensor works in conjunction with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a third AI sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie sensor. MIL-STD 810H Body and IP64 Rating The phone has been introduced with a MIL-STD 810H certified military-grade body. According to Motorola, the phone will not break even after falling from a height of 1.2 meters. For dust and water protection, the smartphone has received an IP64 rating. For connectivity, it offers 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. For entertainment, the phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio. This Motorola 5G phone also supports Google Gemini voice control. Sales will start from August 20 The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Moto G Max 5G is priced at Rs 27,999. Its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has been launched at Rs 29,999. Sales of this new 5G phone will begin on August 20. During the sale, customers will also get a discount of Rs 1000. In the Indian market, Moto G Max will be available in Stargazer, Alaskan Blue, and Malaga colors with a PANTONE finish.
