MangIrish Palekar stormed into two finals (men’s doubles 45+ and 85+) at the GD Birla Memorial Masters inter-club badminton tournament, promoted by Badminton Gurukul, at the Bombay Gymkhana.
In the 45+ semi-finals, Palekar and his partner Vikrant beat George Koshy and Vivyek Kanchan 21-12, 21-14.
In the 85+ semi-finals, Palekar and Deepak Jaitley, the top seeds, got the better of Siddharth Gupta and Sushant Shetty 21-9, 21-10.
