After backlash, Karnataka govt to reintroduce parks bill in legislature for debate
Karnataka’s Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is set to bring back the contentious Parks bill, which permits limited use of park land for public infrastructure. The bill faced considerable backlash from opposition members and community activists when it was first introduced.
