Analogue paneer off menu for a year; preventive measure: Karnataka
Karnataka has banned analogue paneer for one year across the state. This non-dairy product will not be manufactured, sold, or stored by businesses. The government order aims to prevent consumer deception regarding the product’s origin. Food safety officials will soon meet to discuss regulatory reforms nationwide. District-level training will also be provided to food vendors on hygiene.
