Another setback for TMC, Koel Mallick resigns from Rajya Sabha

TMC leader Koel Mallik resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. This follows Madan Mitra’s departure and joining a rebel TMC faction. Earlier, Sukhendu Sekhar Ray and Sushmita Dev also resigned from the party. They subsequently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and filed nomination papers.
