Bengaluru food safety officials intensified inspections, seizing 132kg of food and 15 litres of used oil. Rotten meat, fish, and vegetables were found at several establishments during these inspections. Skyee Lounge’s kitchen was closed due to unhygienic conditions and the presence of rotten food. Expired milk and curd were also discovered, leading to further disposals. This action follows increased inspections due to numerous complaints about food quality and safety.
