Bengaluru teen survives rare, life-saving surgery for Behçet’s-related aortic aneurysm

A Bengaluru teenager has successfully undergone a rare surgery to repair a life-threatening aortic aneurysm caused by Behçet’s Disease. The 15-year-old’s condition, a chronic inflammatory disorder, led to a rapidly expanding aneurysm. Doctors managed the complex case, involving graft replacement and reconstruction of vital arteries, leading to a remarkable recovery and discharge within a week.
