Between SIR, school and polio drive: Karnataka govt school teachers juggle multiple duties

Karnataka’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive gained momentum on its second day, covering over 54 lakh voters. However, the exercise faced challenges as government school teachers and ASHA workers juggled SIR duties with ongoing pulse polio campaigns and classroom responsibilities. Enumerators reported issues like missing registers and vacant houses, highlighting the complex balancing act required to ensure accurate electoral rolls.
