BJP MLA booked over remarks against Rahul Gandhi: ‘He’s on drugs for 24 hours, will destroy his family lineage’

​Udupi police registered an FIR against BJP MLA Yashpal Suvarna for alleged hate speech. The case was filed following a complaint lodged by the Udupi District Congress president. Suvarna allegedly made derogatory remarks against Rahul Gandhi during a protest event. The Karnataka government is examining the matter and will initiate legal action. Further legal proceedings will be initiated in connection with the case.
