‘Blamed her for past village deaths’: Telangana man burns mother alive over black magic suspicion in Medak
Karre Sayamma, a 40-year-old widow, was allegedly burnt alive by her son Karre Durgesh in Medak district. Durgesh accused his mother of practicing black magic and blamed her for past deaths in the village. However, the police found no evidence to support these allegations during their investigation. After the incident, Durgesh fled, prompting a manhunt by the authorities to apprehend him.
