CCTV off, few guards: How thieves pulled off Secunderabad armoury heist under army’s nose; Agniveers among 4 held
Sophisticated weapons vanished from a heavily guarded Army armoury in Hyderabad. Four individuals, including Agniveer recruits and civilian staff, were detained. The stolen items included AK-203 assault rifles and pistols with ammunition. An inquiry is investigating the motive and sequence of this security breach. Civilian access to the military establishment has been sealed during the investigation.
