Delhi-NCR flyer capacity hits 12cr as Noida International Airport starts operation; gives airlines expansion room
Delhi-NCR’s aviation capacity significantly expanded Monday with the launch of Noida International Airport (NIA). This addition, alongside Indira Gandhi International Airport, creates a combined annual passenger capacity of 12 crore. NIA aims to serve both NCR and western UP, with IndiGo operating the inaugural flights. The airport promises economic benefits, especially for farmers through its cargo hub.
