Days after announcing his India performance at the Wembley concert, the details for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert are out as he brings the ‘Aura World Tour’ to India for its debut in Ahmedabad to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21.

The performance marks a grand homecoming for an artist whose music and live performances have taken him from Punjabi music’s cultural heartlands to the world’s biggest stages.

Bringing ‘Aura World Tour’ to India 

The ‘Aura World Tour’ brings together the music, energy and spectacle that define Dosanjh’s live performances, translating the scale of his international shows into a stadium experience for Indian audiences. The India performance comes two years after his ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’  in 2024.

Fans in Ahmedabad can look forward to a high-energy set spanning Dosanjh’s biggest hits and fan favourites, including chart-toppers like ‘G.O.A.T.’, ‘Ikk Kudi’, ‘Lalkara’, ‘Lover’, ‘5 Taara’ ‘Case’ and ‘Water’, among others. 

Commenting on his homecoming tour, Diljit Dosanjh said, “Duniya da sabton vadda stadium India de vich hai te gore group ne ohnu sell out kitta respect for them. India de vich sabton vadda stadium hove te Panjabi uthe na aun eh taan phir ho nahi sakda.”

The announcement came from the stage at Wembley Stadium on September 12, hours after Dosanjh became the first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic venue. Following a global touring journey that has taken the ‘Aura World Tour’ from Sydney to Madison Square Garden and Wembley, the announcement of its India debut comes at a time when the love for Punjabi music is growing in India. The Ahmedabad show will mark another milestone in Dosanjh’s career, as he becomes the first Indian artist to headline a solo concert of this magnitude at the world’s largest stadium, further marking a defining moment in the evolution of Indian artists on the global stage. 

The concert, co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, also arrives at a defining moment for Punjabi music on the global stage. Dosanjh’s rise has helped expand the visibility of Punjabi artists and the reach of their music, placing the language, sound and cultural identity at the heart of an increasingly international live entertainment landscape.

In 2025, Dosanjh received an International Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor for his acclaimed role in the Netflix film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, marking a significant moment for Indian representation on the global stage.
