Emma Raducanu picks food to lift mood!

British tennis ace Emma Raducanu, 23, was spotted on a romantic dinner in Chelsea with new boyfriend John Friend, 32, just two days after she announced her withdrawal from Wimbledon due to a stress fracture in her shin.

According to British tabloid The Sun, the 2021 US Grand Slam-winner was photographed using crutches while entering a five-star restaurant with partner Friend. Two days ago, Raducanu had expressed disappointment while pulling out of her home Slam due to a painful injury. Despite going through a tough few years on court due to waning form, mental health issues and injuries, the World No. 1 was all smiles alongside Friend.

The couple were first seen together last month, cuddling at London’s Battersea Park, just hours after Raducanu’s 0-6, 6-7 loss at the Queen’s Club final to Donna Vekic.

Friend is a PR executive who has previously served as a paratrooper in the British army.
