Everton’s strong defence always makes them a tough opponent: City boss Pep
[[{“value”:”
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes his side will find it tough to break down a resolute Everton defence when the two teams clash in the English Premier League on Monday.
The Sky Blues (70 points) trail league leaders Arsenal by six points and although City have two games in hand, Guardiola knows three points won’t come easy at the Hill Dickinson stadium.
“Always [playing] Everton has been tough. In the new stadium they are defending really well. In recent weeks, Everton have had very good results and are fighting for a place in Europe. [But] we can’t have any result other than win, win, win,” said Guardiola.
