Food safety officials find labelling, storage lapses at Zomato Hyperpure unit

A recent FDA inspection at Zomato’s Hyperpure unit in Bengaluru Rural revealed significant food safety concerns. The officials flagged issues with product labeling, proper licensing, and storage practices. Notably, they discovered chicken lacking a valid manufacturer’s license and garlic sourced from an expired license. The inspection also highlighted labeling errors on various items, including rice and dry fruits.
