As India navigates rapid urbanization, it faces a pressing crisis: approximately 35% of the world’s most polluted affluent cities are located here. While major metropolitan areas are making strides towards cleaner urban living, numerous smaller cities continue to depend on fossil fuels for transportation, manufacturing, and energy.
