Harmanpreet Kaur captaincy records: Matches, wins and losses as India captain

Team India’s prolific batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur has announced her decision to step down from the captaincy of the national side. She shared a post on her official social media handle about her decision.
Her decision came after the review meeting held by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Coming to her captaincy records, she has led the “Women in Blue” in 211 international matches. During her captaincy tenure, she set the record for the most matches as a skipper in women’s T20I cricket, which is 155 matches. She also entered the record books by registering the most T20I wins by any female captain in cricket history. She led Team India to victory in 92 shortest format’s matches.
In Test cricket, the Punjab-born cricketer led the side in five matches and secured victories in four games. She maintained a win ratio of 80.00 per cent.
In ODIs, Kaur led Team India to 30 wins out of 51 games. Her win ratio in the 50-over format is 58.82 per cent.
Having won 92 clashes in 155 T20Is, she has a win ratio of 59.35 per cent. Overall, her win per cent as Team India’s all-format skipper is 59.71.
Apart from this, she is also the first cricketer in the history of the sport, across men’s and women’s cricket, to captain a team in more than 150 T20I matches.
Kaur has also led Mumbai Indians (MI) to Women’s Premier League (WPL) title in two of its first three seasons.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s international career statistics
So far in international cricket, Harmanpreet has represented India in eight Test matches and has smashed 304 runs, with a top score of 69 runs. She also has two half-centuries to her name.
The right-handed batswoman has also featured in 164 ODI matches and has garnered 4,541 runs. Her top score in the format is an unbeaten 171 runs, including 24 half-centuries and seven tons.
The 37-year-old cricketer has donned the Indian T20I colours in 210 games. She has accumulated 4,346 runs, with the help of 18 half-centuries and a century.
While she has stepped down from her captaincy duties in top-flight cricket, the Punjab-born cricketer has made no mention of the captaincy in franchise cricket.
So far, Kaur has smashed 1,193 runs in 35 appearances for the Mumbai-based franchise. She is also the second-highest run-scorer for the franchise, with Nat Sciver-Brunt enjoying the top spot with 1348 runs.
