How Hyderabad can build its way out of the heat
Hyderabad’s hottest neighborhoods feature many green-certified buildings. However, these buildings are vastly outnumbered by conventional structures. Experts state that neighborhood-wide planning is crucial for cooling effects. Current green building adoption is only about ten percent of the city’s stock. Increased adoption and policy incentives can mitigate the urban heat island effect.
