A 41-year-old head constable died by suicide at the Telangana State Police headquarters early Thursday. V Swamy, a native of Chityal, shot himself using his service pistol in the barracks. He left a suicide note asking for his family not to be harassed by anyone. Police suspect financial difficulties and loans taken for a house may have contributed.
