Team India’s think tank views Rana as a pace bowling all-rounder. Earlier, he was ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2026 after he sustained a knee injury during Team India’s warm-up match against South Africa. Later, the injury forced him to miss the entire edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
The “Men in Blue” under the leadership of Shubman Gill have already clinched the series by securing two wins in two matches. Ahead of the third clash, the hosts will look to finish the series on a high by securing a win in the final game.
On the other hand, the Afghans will look to play for pride and will be eager to win the final ODI. Earlier, the visitors also suffered a loss by an innings and 300 runs in the one-off Test match against Team India.
