Karnataka drought: ‘Be mentally prepared’ for water, power shortage, says CM D K Shivakumar

Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar advised citizens to prepare for water and electricity shortages. Declining rainfall has led to drought conditions across many parts of the state. The government is actively managing the situation and preparing reports for central assessment. Legislators are urged not to politicize the ongoing drought and water scarcity issues. Special legislative sessions and cabinet meetings are planned to address these critical concerns.
