Karnataka high court refuses to quash Pocso case on DK school officials
Karnataka high court refused to quash proceedings against school officials in a Pocso case. The court observed that silence in such matters amounts to statutory delinquency. School officials allegedly failed to report a sexual offense against a student in their institution. The victim informed the warden, but officials did not treat the matter seriously. The court held that materials on record disclosed a prima facie case against the petitioners.
