The doors of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple will remain open for devotees on Diwali and Dhanteras, and online ticket booking for darshan will also continue, a temple official said on Tuesday.
However, all ticket categories will remain suspended after the Shringar Bhog Aarti on the afternoon of November 9 until the evening Saptarishi Aarti on November 10.
Shambhu Sharan, SDM of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, said devotees will be able to visit the temple during Diwali and Dhanteras as usual, including through online ticket bookings.
He clarified that the suspension of ticket bookings would be limited to the specified period to facilitate ‘Annakoot’ festival-related arrangements.
All other arrangements and services at the temple will continue as usual on the remaining days, he added.
