A tragic incident unfolded on a Tumakuru highway where a 28-year-old man, T Nagendra, allegedly detonated an explosive inside a cab after stabbing his female partner, U Ramya Nayak. He reportedly declared, “Let’s die together.” The woman and cab driver escaped before the blast. Police suspect a relationship dispute led to Nagendra carrying crude bombs, culminating in this fatal event. Forensic experts are investigating the explosives.
